"I was completely overwhelmed moving into my new loft and didn't know where to start. The team came in and handled the post-construction dust and debris, leaving the place spotless. I will definitely be buying a gift card for my sister who is moving next month."

Gift Cards for House Cleaning Service in New York City
Nobody in this city needs another candle. A Lily Maids gift card hands someone back a Saturday: no scrubbing the tub before guests land, no mopping at midnight after a move. Choose any amount from $100 to $999, we email the code the same day, and they redeem it for any cleaning we offer across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Gift cards never expire, so there's no pressure to use it by a deadline.
A real Lily Maids story
Jameson bought one before he even unpacked.
Jameson F. moved into a Williamsburg loft and walked into a wall of construction dust. Every surface, every windowsill, the inside of the closets. He booked us instead of buying a shop vac, and the crew handled the post-renovation debris the same week. What stuck with him wasn't the clean apartment. It was the realization that his sister was moving the following month into the exact same mess.
So he bought her a gift card. That's how most of these get purchased, honestly. Somebody goes through a hard week in their apartment, sees what a real cleaning does for it, and then thinks of the one person they know who needs it more. New baby, knee surgery, a lease ending, in-laws flying in Thursday. Its rarely a random gift. Explore pricing to see what different amounts cover, or read how it works before you buy.

"With my in-laws arriving for the holidays, I was panicking about the state of my kitchen and bathrooms. The cleaners were absolute lifesavers, scrubbing every surface until it sparkled, and they even left a little note with a gift card for a discount on my next booking."
"We needed a nesting clean before our due date, and I was too exhausted to even think about scrubbing the tub. The crew was so thorough and used safe products, making our nursery and apartment perfect for our newborn. I'm sending a gift card to my pregnant friend to help her out."

Set amounts
Choose a gift that feels generous.
Gift cards run from $100 up to $999. A standard cleaning starts at $150, so a $200 card usually covers a full visit for a one bedroom, while $400 and up covers a deep clean or a couple of recurring visits. Compare on our pricing page, or check what a standard cleaning includes before you pick a number.
Gift cards never expire. They are non-refundable and non-transferable. Full terms live on our terms and conditions page.

What it's good for
One card, five services.
A gift card isn't locked to a single type of clean. The recipient picks whatever their place actually needs. Hover an image to see the service, click to explore it. Tap once on mobile to preview, tap again to open.
Who to give one to
The people who won't ask for help.
Every gift card we sell tends to trace back to a person having a rough stretch in a small apartment. Here are the ones that come up most often. See the full cleaning checklist for exactly what a visit covers.
Housekeeping Service
New parents and new apartments.
Two situations, same problem: no time and no energy. David K. in Park Slope wanted a nesting clean before his due date and couldn't face the tub. Jessica L. in Chelsea bought a card for a friend who just had a baby, because a lasagna lasts one night and a clean bathroom lasts a week. Our maid service covers the same every-visit checklist each time, so the recipient never has to explain what they want done.
Gift cards also land well for someone recovering. Brian A. on the Upper West Side was caring for his wife after surgery and knew the housework was going to lose. We focused on high-touch surfaces and vacuuming, which lines up with the everyday hygiene basics the American Cleaning Institute recommends for shared spaces.
Apartment Cleaning
Small spaces, real difference.
Most of this city lives in apartments, and small apartments punish you fast. Every counter works overtime, clutter has nowhere to go, and one busy month shows on every surface. That's why a gift card reads so differently here than it would in a house in the suburbs. Carlos G. in Forest Hills fell behind because of work and the whole place felt chaotic within weeks.
Our teams are used to tight kitchens, compact bathrooms, walk-ups, and buildings with strict hallway rules. If you're gifting to someone in a doorman building, they can just add access notes at booking. More detail on our apartment cleaning service page, and on preparing for your cleaning.

Deep Cleaning
Deep Cleaning and Sanitizing.
This is where bigger gift cards go. A deep clean reaches the stuff a weekly wipe-down never touches: inside the oven and fridge, behind furniture, baseboards, door frames, cabinet interiors, and the radiator dust that piles up all winter. Lisa T. in Greenwich Village booked one after a bad flu ran through her apartment and wanted every doorknob handled.
Michael F. in the East Village had been avoiding it for months and was embarrassed to host anyone. That's an extremely common reason people recieve one of these as a gift rather than buying it themselves. See what a deep cleaning includes, or the spring cleaning version for allergy season.
Move In and Move Out Cleaning
The best moving gift there is.
Ask anyone who has moved in this city and they'll tell you the cleaning is the part nobody warns you about. You hand back the keys at 9am and you're scrubbing an empty oven at 1am. A gift card aimed at a move-out cleaning removes that entire night from someone's life.
Moving in is the flip side. Our move-in cleaning happens before the boxes land, so the first night is in a genuinely clean place. Patricia W. in Greenpoint used hers getting a home ready for her parents to move in, refrigerator and cabinets included. Landlords and hosts also use cards toward turnover cleaning and short-term rental cleaning.
Recurring Cleaning
Stretch it across the month.
A larger card doesn't have to be spent in one go. Put it toward a recurring plan and it becomes a rhythm instead of a one-off. Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, with the same team whenever we can manage it. Robert M. in Astoria set up regular visits for his parents' place, and that kind of consistency is worth more than any single deep clean.
If the recipient isn't sure yet, a one-time cleaning is a fine starting point and they can always add a schedule later. Need something faster? We often have same-day cleaning and after-party cleaning slots, depending on the day.

The results
What the card actually buys.
From pre-war kitchens in Manhattanville to empty apartments in Sunnyside - this is what our teams do every day.

"Returning from a three-week work trip to a stale apartment was depressing, and I didn't have the energy to tackle it. The service was swift and effective, handling the pet dander and dust buildup that had accumulated. I'll be buying a gift card for my assistant as a thank-you for her hard work."
"My elderly parents are in a new assisted living facility, and I needed a deep clean of their old apartment before the family arrived. The team treated their home with such care and respect, removing years of grime. They even offered a gift card for future services, which was a very kind gesture."
"Hosting my son's birthday party at our apartment was stressful enough without worrying about the mess. The house cleaners arrived on time and transformed our home, wiping down the cabinets and floors until they gleamed. They gave me a referral gift card which I'll definitely use for our post-party cleanup."
"Falling behind on cleaning due to a demanding work schedule left my apartment feeling chaotic. The team was incredibly efficient, organizing the clutter and sanitizing the kitchen and bathrooms. I've already recommended them to my co-worker, and I'm grabbing a gift card for their holiday bonus."
"After recovering from a bad flu, I realized my entire apartment needed a sanitized deep clean to get rid of all the germs. The team arrived with great equipment and scrubbed every doorknob and surface, making the environment healthy again. I'm planning to get a gift card for my brother who just got out of the hospital."
"I was preparing my apartment for a real estate showing and the dust from a small renovation was everywhere. The cleaning crew worked so fast and made the hardwood floors and windows look brand new. I used a gift card they had offered for the booking, which made the service even more affordable."
"I have a college student son who is a bit messy, and I wanted to surprise him with a clean space before my visit. The team worked wonders on his bathroom and kitchen, eliminating all the clutter. It was so good that I'm buying a gift card for a friend who just had a baby."
"Handling a home alone during a divorce is tough, and I just let the cleaning go for months. The service was a lifesaver, providing a thorough detail of the carpets and a deep clean of the oven that I'd been dreading. I was so impressed I bought a gift card for a colleague who's working crazy hours."
"We were hosting a Thanksgiving dinner and needed the apartment to be absolutely flawless. The team wiped down the walls and baseboards, getting rid of the summer dust. They left a gift card in the kitchen for our first-time guest, which was a lovely touch."

Questions and answers
The details before you buy.
These are the questions people ask us most about gift cards. Every answer is open by default, so nothing is hidden behind a click. Still curious? Our full FAQ page goes deeper, or just call us.
How do I buy a gift card? 01
Use the form higher up this page. Pick an amount between $100 and $999, enter your details and the recipient's email, and pay securely online. You don't need an account. If you'd rather handle it by phone, call (646) 825-3550 and we'll walk through it with you, or email support@lilymaidhousecleaningservices.com.
How fast does the gift card arrive? 02
It's emailed, not mailed, so it usually lands within minutes of purchase. You can send it straight to the recipient, or send it to yourself if you want to forward it on a specific day or print it out. Worth checking the spam folder if it doesn't show up, and let us know if it hasn't arrived so we can resend it.
Do gift cards expire? 03
No. Lily Maids gift cards never expire, so there's no deadline hanging over anybody. They are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. The FTC's guidance on buying and giving gift cards is a good general read if you want to understand your rights, and NYC consumer protection rules cover gift cards sold in the city.
What can the gift card be used for? 04
Any cleaning service we offer. Standard housekeeping, apartment cleaning, maid service, deep cleaning, one-time cleaning, recurring plans, and move-in or move-out cleaning. Same-day and short-term rental cleanings work too, subject to availability that day.
How does the recipient redeem it? 05
They enter the code from the email while booking on our booking page, and the balance comes off the total. If the cleaning costs more than the card, they just pay the difference at checkout. If it costs less, the leftover balance stays on the card for next time. They can also call us and we'll apply it for them.
Can a gift card be combined with a coupon code? 06
Give us a call before booking and we'll tell you exactly how it applies to your situation. Promo codes like NEW10 and MOVE30 have their own conditions, and we'd rather confirm it on the phone than have somebody assume it stacks and get a surprise at checkout. Reach us at (646) 825-3550.
What if the recipient isn't happy with the cleaning? 07
Same promise as any other visit. If something isn't right, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back and re-clean the areas in question at no charge. Read the full satisfaction guarantee, and the cancellation and rescheduling policy if plans need to move.

Sanitizing Cleaning · Upper West Side, Manhattan"Getting the house ready for my parents to move in was a stressful endeavor.
