Recurring Cleaning Service in New York City, On Your Schedule
The homes that always look good aren't cleaned harder. They're cleaned on a rhythm. Put your apartment on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly plan and the same insured, background-checked team shows up, works the same checklist, and leaves your place the way you wish it looked all the time. Flat pricing, plan savings, and 60-second online booking across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
A real Lily Maids story
Michael Torres called us in full panic mode.
His in-laws were landing in a few hours. His East Village apartment, in his own words, looked like a disaster zone. We got a team over early, worked the place room by room, and by the time the buzzer went off it was spotless and actually welcoming. Michael's review ends with the line we hear the most: "Now we are so relaxed and have even set up a recurring cleaning schedule because we can't imagine going back."
That last part is the whole point of this page. Almost nobody starts out looking for a recurring cleaning service in New York City. They start with an emergency. Guests. A move. A new baby. A week from hell at work. Then they see what the apartment feels like when someone else handles it properly, and they don't want to go back to Sunday afternoons with a bucket. So they put it on a schedule.
Michael's plan is bi-weekly now. Same day of the week, same window, same crew when our scheduling allows it. He doesn't text us to book anymore, its just on the calendar. That's the version of this service we'd point anybody toward. See how it works, or check pricing first if you'd rather run the numbers before you commit.

"So thorough, especially in the nursery and kitchen, removing all the dust and germs. We are grateful and have already booked a recurring cleaning to keep things sanitary."

Everything on the plan
What a plan actually covers.
A recurring plan isn't a different kind of cleaning. Its the same work, on repeat, at a better price. Below is every service that can sit inside a plan or run alongside it, from standard visits to one-off deep cleans and rental turnovers. Pick what fits and book online in about a minute.
The main event
Recurring Cleaning in New York City.
Here's the honest math on a recurring cleaning service. A home cleaned every two weeks never gets to the point where it needs three hours of catch-up. Soap scum doesn't have time to set. Dust doesn't build up behind the radiator. So each visit is faster, easier, and cheaper than the emergency clean you'd otherwise book twice a year in a state of despair.
You choose the frequency, the day, and the arrival window. We hold that slot for you. Same checklist every visit, so there's no explaining yourself over and over, and we try hard to send the same cleaner or pair so they learn your place - which cabinet sticks, which floor needs the gentle stuff, where the vacuum lives if you'd rather we use yours.
Life happens, so nothing is locked in. Skip a week, push a visit, change frequency, or cancel the plan entirely - just give us notice per our rescheduling policy. And every visit is covered by our satisfaction guarantee: if something is off, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it.
Most of NYC lives in apartments
Apartment Cleaning on a Schedule.
Small spaces punish neglect faster than big ones. There's nowhere for clutter to hide, every surface works overtime, and one week of skipping the kitchen is visible from the front door. That's exactly why recurring apartment cleaning works so well here - a modest amount of upkeep, often, beats a heroic effort rarely.
Our teams are trained for real New York buildings: narrow galley kitchens, bathrooms with no counter, pre-war walk-ups where the vacuum has to come up four flights. We coordinate with doormen, follow service elevator rules, and handle key or lockbox handoffs so you don't need to be home. Clients on the Upper East Side and in Williamsburg lofts run on the same plan structure, just different logistics notes on the file.

Familiar faces
Maid Service You Don't Have to Re-Explain.
The difference between a cleaning company and a real maid service is memory. On a recurring plan, your preferences live on the file: no bleach in the bathroom, the good pan gets hand-washed, don't touch the desk, the cat hides under the bed and its fine to leave her there. New cleaner covering a shift? They read the same notes before they knock.
We schedule for continuity wherever staffing allows, because a cleaner who knows your apartment is simply faster and better than one seeing it for the first time. Everyone on the team is insured and background-checked, and we bring our own professional supplies and equipment - you don't need to stock a thing, though we're happy to use your products if you leave a note.
The every-visit baseline
Standard Basic Cleaning, Done Right.
Nearly every recurring plan runs on a standard basic cleaning. Kitchen counters, backsplash, stovetop and appliance exteriors, sink scrubbed and polished, cabinet fronts wiped. Bathrooms: tub, shower, tile, toilet inside and out, vanity sanitized, mirror and fixtures polished. Living areas and bedrooms dusted, glass cleaned, beds made. Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout, trash out.
That's it. No mystery, no upsell theater. The full room-by-room breakdown lives on what a standard cleaning includes, and if you like a printable version, grab the cleaning checklist. Knowing the scope up front is what stops the awkward "I thought you'd do the oven" conversation later.
Who we clean for
Residential Cleaning Across the Boroughs.
Residential cleaning is all we do, which sounds like a limitation until you've watched a commercial crew try to work around a toddler's nap schedule. Homes have rules offices don't. Pets. Kids. A partner on night shifts. A grandmother who needs the bathroom kept slip-free. A home office you'd rather nobody moved paperwork in.
We plan around all of that. Recurring residential clients tell us the real value isn't the sparkle, its the predictability - the same standard of care every visit, from a family brownstone in Park Slope to a one-bedroom in Astoria. Every home gets the same checklist and the same guarantee, whatever the square footage.
Where most plans begin
Deep Cleaning First, Then Maintain.
If your place hasn't had a proper going-over in a while, we usually suggest starting the plan with a deep cleaning. Inside the oven and fridge. Behind and under furniture. Baseboards, door frames, light fixtures, cabinet interiors, tile grout, and the radiator dust that quietly collects all winter. It resets the baseline so every recurring visit after it can stay on schedule instead of playing catch-up.
Deep cleans also matter for anyone in the household with allergies or asthma. Closed-up city apartments trap dust, dander and mites, and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America recommends regular cleaning of soft surfaces and bedding as a core part of managing them. The Mayo Clinic makes a similar point about consistency over intensity. Which is more or less the argument for recurring cleaning in one sentence. See what a deep cleaning adds.
Before the keys change hands
Move in and Move out Cleaning.
Plenty of our recurring clients found us during a move, Sarah Jenkins in Williamsburg included. Our move-out cleaning follows the same checklists NYC landlords use at final walkthroughs: inside cabinets, inside the oven and fridge, appliance exteriors, bathroom fixtures, floors, and every corner that gets ignored while you're living there.
Moving in instead? A move-in cleaning before the boxes land means your first night is in a genuinely clean home, not somebody else's dust. Tell us about elevator reservations and access rules at booking. And if you want the new place to stay that way, this is the easiest possible moment to start a plan - the baseline is already perfect. Code MOVE30 takes $30 off any move-in or move-out clean.

No commitment needed
One Time Cleaning, Zero Strings.
Not everyone wants a plan, and thats completely fine. A one-time cleaning is a single visit at a flat price - book it, we clean, done. No subscription, no cancellation call, no awkwardness if you never call again.
Honestly, its how most of our recurring clients started. They booked one clean before guests or after a rough month, liked what they came home to, and converted. If you're on the fence, start with one visit and decide afterward. You can always add a plan later and keep the same team.
Housekeeping Service
Housekeeping is recurring cleaning with a bit more of the everyday stuff folded in - beds made and linens changed, kitchen reset, bathrooms restocked, laundry started if that's arranged in advance. It suits households where somebody is stretched thin: new parents, caregivers, people working long hours.
Jessica Brown in Jackson Heights described it best. She's a new mom on a demanding work schedule, and the chores had simply gotten away from her. A regular housekeeping visit gave her back the mental space to stop tracking it. See what's covered on the every-visit checklist.
Same Day Cleaning Service
Sometimes the schedule breaks. In-laws move up their flight, a showing gets booked for tomorrow, the plan visit isn't for another nine days. Our same-day cleaning can often fill that gap, though it always depends on that day's routing and your location - we'll never promise a slot we can't staff.
Recurring clients get first look at open same-day windows, since your address, access notes and preferences are already on file. Call (646) 825-3550 and we'll tell you straight away what's actually available.
AirBnB Cleaning Service
Short-term rentals are recurring cleaning with a stopwatch attached. Guest out at 11, next guest in at 3, and the whole reset has to fit between. We run short-term rental cleaning and turnover cleaning on standing schedules for hosts across the three boroughs.
Linens swapped, bathrooms reset, kitchen checked, floors done, and a message if something needs your attention - a stain, a broken lamp, low supplies. Managing a whole unit rather than a spare room? See rental property cleaning and the rental cleaning checklist.
More ways we clean.
Spring resets, morning-after party rescues, and every checklist page we've written. If it needs cleaning in New York City, there's a good chance we do it - and a good chance it can sit inside your plan.

Nine reasons to put it on the calendar.
Renovation dust, allergy season, new roommates, elderly parents, three weeks away - here is what New Yorkers say after we leave. Read all reviews >
"I was hosting Thanksgiving for 15 people in my small Astoria apartment and simply didn't have the time to deep clean the oven and floors. The team came in and were absolute lifesavers, leaving everything gleaming just in time for me to start cooking. The apartment was perfect, and the service was so good that I'm going to make it a recurring cleaning."
"After a major renovation in our Soho apartment, we were drowning in a thick layer of construction dust on every surface. Their team performed a miracle with their post-construction cleanup, getting the fine dust out of every crevice. The entire space is now pristine and beautiful, and we will definitely schedule a recurring cleaning to maintain it."
"My elderly parents live in Park Slope and can no longer manage the physical demands of keeping their home clean. I arranged this service for them, and they were incredibly kind and respectful, doing a phenomenal deep clean of the areas they struggle with. My parents are so happy and comfortable now, and we've arranged for a recurring cleaning to help them regularly."
"Returning from a three-week vacation to a dusty, messy apartment was so depressing, and I had zero energy to deal with it. The cleaning crew was on time and absolutely amazing, bringing my place back to life in just a couple of hours. The apartment smells and feels completely refreshed, and I've already signed up for a recurring cleaning to avoid this in the future."
"As a new mom with a demanding work schedule, I was completely overwhelmed and falling behind on chores. This service was an incredible help, tackling all the high-traffic areas and the bathroom with incredible detail. I can finally focus on my baby and work, and having them come on a recurring cleaning basis has been a complete game-changer for my sanity."
"I was scrambling to get my place ready for a real estate open house, and it needed to look immaculate. The team arrived and did an astonishing job, making the entire apartment look bright and incredibly spacious. The showing went great, and I will keep using their recurring cleaning service to keep it show-ready."
"We were preparing for my daughter's first birthday party, and the house was a cluttered disaster from weeks of just surviving with a toddler. The cleaners showed up and performed a deep clean that was simply outstanding, particularly on the floors and furniture. The house looked fantastic for the party, and I now have them on a recurring cleaning schedule for my own peace of mind."
"My partner is recovering from surgery and I needed the entire house sanitized and spotless to create a restful environment. The cleaning team was very detail-oriented, leaving the bathroom and bedroom perfectly clean. It's a relief to have them coming on a recurring cleaning basis so I can focus solely on her recovery."
"Allergy season was hitting our family hard, and we desperately needed a deep clean to remove the dust and pet dander from our carpets and air vents. The company did a phenomenal job clearing out all the hidden allergens, and we are all breathing so much easier. We are such fans that we've already requested a recurring cleaning every other week."
Pricing
Know the price before we knock.
Your price depends on your home size, the cleaning type, the condition, and any add-ons. Recurring plans are priced per visit, and the savings apply automatically once the schedule is set. You see the full flat rate before you confirm - never after. See full pricing >
Choose your rhythm
Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Recurring plans save you money on every visit compared with booking the same clean one-off, and the more often we come the better the per-visit rate. Exact savings depend on your home and frequency, so they're shown on pricing and again in your quote before you confirm anything.
Weekly
For busy households, families with kids or pets, and anyone who wants their place to basically never look dirty. Weekly visits are the shortest and the cheapest per visit, because nothing gets a chance to build up.
- Best per-visit rate
- Fastest visits
- Same day and window held
- Priority on same-day gaps
Bi-Weekly
The sweet spot for most New York apartments, and what we book more than anything else. Every two weeks keeps kitchens and bathrooms genuinely under control without paying for weekly service.
- Strong plan savings
- Ideal for 1-2 bedrooms
- Skip a visit anytime
- Consistent team assignment
Monthly
For tidy households, solo residents, or anyone who handles the day-to-day themselves and just wants a proper reset once a month. Monthly visits run a little longer since there's more to do.
- Plan savings still apply
- Good for smaller homes
- Easy to upgrade later
- Deep clean add-ons welcome
What clients actually get
Results you'll notice by the third visit.
Nobody signs up for a recurring cleaning service because they love clean grout. They sign up to get their weekends back, to stop the low-level nagging feeling about the bathroom, to be able to say yes when a friend asks to come over tonight.
Practically, here's what changes. Your Saturday morning is yours again. The kitchen never reaches the state where it needs an hour. Hosting stops being a two-day project. If you work from home, the space around you stays workable instead of slowly filling up. And if there's someone in the house recovering, elderly, or brand new, the home stays in the condition they actually need it to be in.

Questions and answers
The details before you commit.
These are the questions people ask before starting a plan. Every answer is open by default, so nothing is hidden behind a click. Still curious? Our full FAQ page goes deeper, and contact us gets you a real person.
How often should a New York apartment be cleaned? 01
Bi-weekly is what most of our clients land on, and it's what we'd suggest for a typical one or two bedroom with one or two adults. Add kids, pets, or a lot of cooking and weekly starts making more sense. If you keep on top of daily tidying yourself and just want a real reset, monthly is plenty. You can change frequency at any point without penalty - see pricing for how each option is rated.
Do I get the same cleaner every visit? 02
We schedule for continuity whenever staffing allows, and most recurring clients see the same cleaner or pair week after week. We won't promise it absolutely every time - people take vacation, get sick, and move between routes. When someone covers, they work from your file, including your access instructions and preferences, so the visit still runs the way you expect.
Does my first recurring visit have to be a deep clean? 03
Not required, but often worth it. If your home hasn't had detailed attention in several months, a deep cleaning first means every visit after it can stay on schedule rather than chipping away at backlog. If your place is already in decent shape, we start straight into standard visits. We'll tell you honestly which one we think you need when you describe the home at booking.
Can I skip a week or reschedule a visit? 04
Yes. Skip a single visit, shift a date, or pause the plan while you're traveling. We just ask for notice in line with our cancellation and rescheduling policy so we can offer the slot to someone else. Robert Smith in Hell's Kitchen does the opposite of skipping - he schedules a visit for the day he lands back from trips so he's not walking into three weeks of dust.
Do I need to be home for recurring cleanings? 05
No, and most plan clients aren't. Doorman handoff, lockbox, or a smart-lock code all work fine, and once it's set up we follow the same routine every visit without you needing to think about it. Add access details to your booking notes, or tell us once by phone. See preparing for your cleaning for the short pre-visit rundown.
Do you bring supplies, and can you use green products? 06
We bring professional supplies and equipment to every visit, so you don't need to stock anything. If you'd prefer green products around kids or pets, ask for EPA Safer Choice certified products in your notes and we'll use them on every visit going forward. Got a specific product you love for a specific surface? Leave it out with a note and the team will use it.
Can you add extras to certain visits only? 07
Yes. A common pattern is a standard visit most times, then inside-oven or inside-fridge added once a quarter, or interior windows before you host. Add-ons appear as options when you book, and you can add them to a single upcoming visit without changing the plan itself. Curious about the seasonal version? See spring cleaning.
What if a visit isn't up to standard? 08
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean the areas in question at no charge. That applies to every visit on every plan, in every borough. Read the full satisfaction guarantee. Feedback on a recurring plan is genuinely useful to us - it gets written to your file, so the correction sticks for future visits rather than being a one-off fix.
Is recurring cleaning worth it for a small apartment? 09
Often more worth it than for a big one. Small NYC apartments show mess immediately and have no spare room to absorb it, so consistent upkeep has an outsized effect. Visits are shorter and cheaper too. City health guidance on indoor home environments also points to routine cleaning as a way to keep dust and allergen triggers down in dense housing, which matters a lot in a studio.
