A standard basic cleaning is the maintenance visit. Counters, stovetop, sink, appliance exteriors, cabinet fronts. Tub, shower, toilet, vanity, mirrors. Dusting through the living areas and bedrooms, beds made, floors vacuumed and mopped, trash out.
This is the right pick for a unit that's already in decent shape - between short stays, mid-lease for a tenant who wants help, or a light refresh before a showing. If the unit hasn't had attention in months, a standard visit will look better but won't reach the built-up stuff. That's what the deep clean is for. What does a rental property cleaning actually include? 01
It depends which service you pick. A standard visit covers the kitchen (counters, stovetop, sink, appliance exteriors, cabinet fronts), bathrooms (tub, shower, toilet, vanity, mirrors), all living areas and bedrooms, plus vacuuming, mopping, and trash. A deep clean or move-out clean adds the inside of the oven, the inside of the fridge, cabinet interiors, baseboards, door frames, and light fixtures. Compare them on the standard cleaning checklist and the deep cleaning checklist.
Does the unit need to be empty? 02
For a move-out or full turnover clean, yes - empty or very close to it. We can't clean inside a cabinet that's still full or reach a wall behind a sofa. For housekeeping, standard visits, and short-stay changeovers the unit can stay furnished. If you're not sure which applies, tell us the situation when you book and we'll steer you to the right service.
Do you bring supplies and equipment? 03
Yes, always. That's a real advantage on empty units, because vacant apartments never have a mop, a vacuum, or a roll of paper towels sitting there waiting. Our crews arrive fully loaded. If you keep a specific product for a specific surface, leave it out with a note and the team will use that instead.
How do you get into the unit if nobody is there? 04
Whatever works for your building. Doorman or concierge handoff, a lockbox, a smart-lock code, a super, or a broker meeting us at the door. Just put the access instructions in your booking notes, and tell us if the building requires a service elevator reservation or a certificate of insurance on file. How long does a turnover take? 05
A studio changeover can run two to three hours. A two-bedroom move-out clean on a unit that's been lived in for years can take most of a day, sometimes with a larger crew. Condition matters as much as square footage. When you book online you'll see the time estimate along with the price, before you confirm anything.
Can you handle back-to-back guest changeovers? 06

Will a move-out clean get my deposit back? 07
We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can - deposit decisions are between you, your landlord, and your lease.
